Tätigkeitsbereiche

Zu den grundsätzlichen Tätigkeiten von Pharmazeutisch-kaufmännischen Angestellten gehören kaufmännisch-organisatorische Fähigkeiten, wie Arzneimittel zu bestellen, eingehende Waren zu kontrollieren und zu lagern. Büro- und Verwaltungsaufgaben gehören genauso dazu wie die Beratung von Kunden zu apothekenüblichen Produkten.

Ausbildung

Die Inhalte der Ausbildung bauen auf dem Hauptschulabschluss auf. Wer also in die 3jährige Ausbildung starten möchte, sollte über eine gute Allgemeinbildung und gute Kenntnisse in Deutsch, Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften verfügen. Pharmazeutisches und kaufmännisches Interesse sind ebenso wichtig wie Sorgfalt, Zuverlässigkeit und Teamfähigkeit.

Die Ausbildung zur/m PKA erfolgt im klassischen dualen System, d. h. dass die praktische Ausbildung in der Apotheke stattfindet und parallel dazu eine Berufsschule besucht wird.

Dabei werden Kenntnisse zu Warenwirtschaft, Bevorratung und Preisbildung, Lagerhaltung und zur Bearbeitung von Rechnungen und Umgang mit der EDV vermittelt. In der Apotheke geht es zum Beispiel um Zuarbeiten zur Herstellung, Prüfung und Abgabe von Arzneimitteln.

Auch die Beratung zu apothekenüblichen Waren, wie Kosmetika und Verbandmittel, gehört zu den Aufgaben der PKA. Die Beratung zu Arzneimitteln und deren Abgabe ist hingegen ApothekerInnen und pharmazeutisch-technischen AssistentInnen (PTA) vorbehalten.

Weiterbildung

In den MAXMO Apotheken haben PKA viele Möglichkeiten, sich zu spezialisieren und durch Weiterbildungen spannende Schwerpunkte zu setzen. Mit dem Schwerpunkt Kosmetik oder Ernährung stehen Ihnen bei uns ganz unterschiedliche Einsatzgebiete offen. Bei entsprechendem Bildungsabschluss haben PKA auch die Möglichkeit, sich zur PTA ausbilden zu lassen. Wer eine Hochschulzugangsberechtigung hat, kann auch das Pharmaziestudium an einer Uni anstreben.

Im Unternehmen selbst bieten wir die PKA-Ausbildung zur Dermoskosmetikerin an. Außerdem gibt es hier regelmäßige PKA Treffen, um Probleme und Standards zu besprechen, zu unterstützen oder Hilfe zu bekommen.
